Located on the north coast of Cornwall, Perranporth is a great beach for your dog to run loose. The long stretches of sand offer plenty of room to roam and the nearby villages are friendly and welcoming to tourists and their four-legged friends. Dogs are allowed all year round. However, there is a restriction that dogs must be on a leash between July and August from 9 am to 5 pm.
Carne Beach (also known as Gerans Bay) is one of the best in the area for long sandy beaches. It’s usually not too busy and is a dog-friendly beach all year round, although pets must be leashed during the summer months. A beautiful place on the Roseland Peninsula.
Definitely one of the most amazingly beautiful places in Cornwall, even just a drive from us at the hotel, this beach is definitely worth it! Dogs are allowed on this beach all year round and the parking lot is ten minutes away. We noticed that the tide is fast at Pedn Vounder Beach, so please take care of yourself and your children!

Sitting half a mile along the South West Coast Road from Portscatho, this beautiful beach is welcoming, family friendly and of course dog friendly! Dogs are allowed all day, all year round. We recommend an adventure around the rock pool and along the beautiful Roseland while enjoying a day here.
This local beach in Hayle has amazing sand for you and your footy friends to race on. Up and down. Dogs are welcome on this beach, except in July and August between 10:00 and 18:00, when there is a seasonal dog ban between Hayle River and Black Cliffs.
Another favorite of ours, Gorran is an east-facing beach popular with families and great for surfing and swimming. This beautiful beach is dog friendly all year round, but they must be kept on a leash.

Also known as Cadgwith Cove, this beautiful little spot is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery with your pup. This beach is a good place to swim and explore the cliffs. It is also dog friendly all year round!
Located on the west coast of Kadal, this small sandy beach is next to the historic Lifeboat Station and the picturesque Mullion Harbour. This beach welcomes dogs all year round. However, because of its size, it is often covered during high tide. We recommend visiting and exploring the beautiful harbor too!

Nanjizal is smaller than the previous two, although the same if not more stunning, is a great beach to explore with your canine friend. As there is no designated parking area, take your walking shoes and park at Lands End, follow the south coast road to find Nanjizal.
This is a hike that requires proper planning, as it is about a 3km hike to get there. With rock pools, waterfalls, caves and sand at low tide, your dog will be more interested in exploring!
