I don’t go to Southampton very often, just because “it’s a bit out of my way, but the spit is great!” Plenty of space to walk around and great views, definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Palm Beach has two dog beaches, one on the north side near the restaurant in Talle. The one I’m going to talk about here is the Crombon Creek front where the Dunn Cafe is located.
I don’t miss Tally, it’s just that it has less space and can be a nightmare when the parking lot is busy. I prefer the South End, it’s more spacious. You get an end of the beach and the river, so there is plenty of space for your doll to run and splash.
Remember that weekends can be very busy and some dogs get lazy when they are busy! Always pay attention to your strengths and how you interact with other dogs.
**Disclaimer** I love pizza, it’s so cute, but honestly, this is my least favorite place I’ve ever been. Cattle dogs are pretty wild in the evening, so if it’s busy and there’s a nice loop around the park, I’d recommend going to the dog park!

This is a great beach on the banks of the Kingscliff River, with a truly spectacular view. It’s a mixed bag with dogs. Sometimes good, sometimes a bit busy, it really depends. Always take care and be safe!

Kiba is my favorite dog beach. When I lived in Casuarina, I drank coffee in the morning and sat all day.
The walk is really nice and the dogs are generally very nice. Also remember school holidays and busy times.
**NOTE** Horseback riding is allowed in Kabud (just not on land). So if your dog likes to chase horses (like mine! -_-) always put your dog first and check out the horses on the beach.
