British Staycation Destinations With The Best Weather
According to pet reviews, Herefordshire is the best place to holiday with your pet in England. Our analysis found that 87.7% of pet holiday accommodation reviews in the West Midlands were rated 7, 8, 9 or 10 stars.
Northumberland comes second in our ranking, with 85.5% of pet owner reviews of the resorts there being highly rated.
In Wales, Monmouthshire is the best place for holidays with pets. 83.2% of the pet reviews we found for county vacation destinations rated highly.
We’ve found Perth and Kinross to be the best places in Scotland to holiday with your pets. 85.3% of the pet reviews we found for county vacation destinations were highly rated with 7, 8, 9 or 10 stars.

If you’re looking for a pet holiday a little further afield, it might be worth looking into Turkey as a destination for you and your furry friend. Our search for pet friendly reviews in every OECD country found that 94.3 percent of reviews of places in Turkey were highly rated with 7, 8, 9 or 10 stars – more than any other country in our analysis.
Austria is in the second place (89.4%), New Zealand (86.9%), Ireland (85.7%) and Slovenia (85.6%) are also in the top place.

We found that 93.2% of pet owner reviews referring to restaurants near holiday destinations in the Scottish Highlands region were highly rated. This is the highest percentage of top reviews for each hotel feature in our analysis.

Sometimes, there is no better incentive to explore a new place than walking your dog. By looking at reviews of holiday destinations that specifically mention dogs, we discovered the places in the UK where dog owners are most likely to take their dogs on holiday.
Cumbria, home to many beautiful hills and lakes perfect for dog walking, tops our list, with 53.6 out of every 1,000 holiday destination reviews mentioning dogs there.
