19 Dog-friendly Beaches In Devon
Known as the Pearl of Dorset, Lyme Regis has several beaches to choose from, as well as a quay wall, Langmoor Gardens and a high street lined with independent shops, many of which offer dog and dog-friendly dining options. . It is a great place to walk your dog and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Monmouth Beach to the west of Lyme Regis and Circassian Beach to the east welcome dogs all year round. Dogs are welcome at Front Beach from October to April. Lead restrictions apply on adjacent highway, coastal and sea beaches.

Yes, it is a beautiful, undeveloped and pebbly beach just 500 meters from Highlands End Holiday Park. This empty space is the perfect place to escape, relax and enjoy the view. As the beach is less well known, it is a little quieter and it is a nice walk to Thorncombe Beacon Rock, which overlooks Portland Bill.
West Bay is a charming fishing village that surrounds the park. ITV crime drama Broadchurch, West Bay has become a popular destination in recent years and has plenty to see and do, allowing you to spend a day exploring. There are no official restrictions at Burton Bradstock, but the National Trust asks that dogs not be exercised on the main land at Hive Beach between May and September. If you walk east or west of the main beach, in front of the rocks, dogs are welcome here all year round. Please make sure the animals are well behaved.

West Bexington is a quieter part of Chesil Beach. The small coastal village along the Jura Coastal Road has a beach car park, club cafe and nature reserve, as well as an area of ​​special scientific interest across the beach.

The summer months are very busy, so we recommend visiting between September and May if possible. The water quality is excellent and clean for swimming.

Worbarrow Bay is a charming and peaceful place. Part of the Lulworth walk is only available at weekends and school holidays and can be reached on foot from the Tyneham Village car park, which was evacuated during the Second World War and has since been derelict. The walk is flat and about 1 mile to the beach with beautiful views and attractive beaches.
