As part of World Rabies Day, Bark India is organizing a free vaccination camp for our furry friends and we need your support to spread the word. Together we can make a big difference in the fight against rabies.
All pet parents, stray carers and animal lovers are welcome and their “friends”. (Dogs and cats older than 3 months and should not have been vaccinated against rabies in the last 11 months).

NGO – Registered organization for the welfare of stray animals in Pondicherry and surrounding areas of Tamil Nadu. Our primary mission is to rescue lost, injured animals in need of emergency medical care. In our rescue center and veterinary hospital, free housing, health care, food and treatment are provided until the person recovers. At the end of the treatment, free vaccinations and sterilization will be done before they are released to their place. We also promote adoption of Indian dogs, conduct free medical and vaccination camps, Animal Birth Control Program (as per ABC Rules, 2001 Animal Welfare Board of India).

A donation of $8.00 gets your dog Bordetella vaccinated and microchipped, as well as distemper/distemper. A deal because we use the same vaccines as your vet without the exam fees and high vaccine prices.
If you visit the June clinic at the Salvation Army Community Center, bring your health card and your dog will receive a free Bordetella vaccine. This is due to the dogs that attended the last event where we did not have Bordetella to manage.
Our volunteers are board certified veterinarians who love pets and provide the highest level of care in administering vaccinations and microchipping.

We have dog collars, leashes and dog tags that need a new set when you pick up your pet bag. We will have a limited amount of dog/cat food for those who need a supplement. Please do not take food unless you can afford food for your pet, there are those in need and we have plenty to share.

If you have problems with food for your pets, contact local shelters, rescue services and ask for help. We all choose to give you a bag of food for dogs, cats and pets that have lost their homes. Surrendering your pet to an overcrowded shelter is a death sentence, no one will take your pet and give it a new home. The system doesn’t work that way.
Your pet is family. Your pet is a lifelong commitment, through travel, job changes, new family members, weddings, divorces, family deaths, it’s all up to you.
