Practically Winterfell does not have a civil ceremony permit, but there are beautiful churches and chapels around Lake Windermere, with St. Peter’s in Finsthwaite just two minutes away. Private parking for 10 cars and additional outdoor parking available upon request. Fireworks are not allowed and music must stop by midnight. In addition to standard rental rates, reasonable rental rates from £4,000 for up to 70 guests including standard group size. The rent for a place for 12 guests is £1000, optional for guests staying in this house only and does not include tent installation or toilet hire. A seven-night minimum applies to all honeymoons.

We bought the house in December 2007 and over the next two years it transformed a very boring and neglected house into a work of art. warm and cozy, modern house. We have decorated the house with antique and modern furniture and objects, reflecting our taste for luxurious luxury and emphasizing simple comfort.
Set within two acres of mature walled gardens and surrounded by its own six acres of private grounds and woodland, Winterfell is very private and peaceful. The house is ideal for a holiday in the Lake District, but is also well placed for quick and easy access to Lake Windermere. The surrounding hills are ideal for short or long walks, leading to stunning views of the property. For the more adventurous, the library has a few special books for further walks to the lakes.
