Arrange your dog’s travel from the UK to France on an approved route. We decided to travel from the UK to France by ferry as there were a limited number of pet tickets available. Luckily, Wilf is an amazing traveler and we arrived with enough time to walk around properly before boarding the ferry. It was comfortable and safe with water and adequate ventilation (we even opened the window a little) (we went as advised) The ferry crossing took about 90 minutes. Our ferry trip from the UK to Guernsey also had the same requirements when we visited our campsite.

Fantastic Eurocamp Holidays 2024/2025
Camping La Croix du Vieux Pont offered day trips to Paris and the park’s bus company allowed us to take Wilf on the bus back to Paris, which was absolutely amazing. Once in Paris we found many restaurants and cafes that allow dogs, especially if they sit outside (we always ask first).
We also traveled to Disneyland with the dog and thought their pet service was fantastic as it allowed us to spend a day at Eurocamp with the kids, this service cannot be booked and is busy on weekends and holidays. It cost us 25 euros a day and we could walk as much as we wanted. On the day of the Walk Wilf you will need proof of vaccination and a health certificate for the pet, so don’t forget your papers.
100% Yes, I was surprised to see how dog-friendly our Eurocamp park in France is and Wilf had a great holiday. Although it was quite expensive since it could only be used for one trip, he is part of the family and we love taking him wherever we go.
