Directly on Endeavor East’s award-winning beach, this stretch of sand has to be Michael Douglas Puglas’ favorite beach on the Sunshine Coast. This amazing surfing beach is a common area between dogs and people. Accessed from Oceanic Drive along Varana and Buddina beaches, the dog-friendly section of the beach is located from beach access points 226 to 247.

When you’ve had enough of the beach, you can head back across the lake to John Houghton Park to cook a nail or two on the free grills and enjoy playing with the human children. Remember, this area is not a dead zone, so make sure your pup is in the park.

To the north towards Point Arkwright is another excellent professional beach. To find it, park along Pacific Boulevard in Buddina and take your furry friend down Access Point 210 to 217.

Noosa Spit: If you are visiting the Noosa area, visit Noosa Spit at Noosa Heads. Lying behind Noosa’s main beach, where dogs are not allowed, dogs are allowed on all sections of the spit that extend to the Noosa River, including the beach on either side.

Sunshine Beach North: Another dog friendly beach near Noosa is on the north side of Sunshine Beach. The cul-de-sac sports field starts outside the small car park on Seaview Terrace North and extends beyond the boundaries of Noosa National Park. It is a beautiful beach with a westerly wind, although the water is often rough.
