Best Dog Friendly Hikes Utah – We are approaching the hottest climate and you know what it means … Road trips! If you are something like us, they love to bring your dogs with you on the trip.  Last September we had one of the most incredible roads in incredible Utah with our two Newton + Maya puppies. I thought I would give a small series of blogs (this is part of of II) in our adventure and I hope useful tips if you are traveling there with your dogs.

With Utah, 2 main factors must be taken into account: (1) weather + (2) crazy.  As a major tourist destination, it is engaged in the hot months. Keep this in mind.  Utah also gets Hawt in the summer.  This may not be ideal for you and your puppies.  We decided in mid -September and worked for us.  The audience was still a bit there, but not as bad as in June, July or August.  Although it was still hot and sometimes it was hot, it wasn’t the dead heat of summer.  Could we have done October?  Probably.  But we didn’t even want it to be too cold. Maybe this trip is a nice compromise in late September, in early October.

Let’s get into the good things now … where are you going to Utah?  It was really hard for us to choose only one area.  If you’ve ever studied Utah, you know it has surprising parks and goals throughout the state.  You will see Archi and Canyonlands in Moab in the East, but you will also do Zion National Park and look at all the incredible shots of crack in the Utah Desert in the South -West/South area -Central.  Utah has so much to offer, and if you are traveling on both sides of the country, you are already traveling far.  [PS: We didn’t even adapt to Epic Monument Valley in Arizona, which is not far away and it would have been easy for one or two days more, but unfortunately next time!]

We chose a week’s trip (5 nights and 6 days to be accurate) to see as much as possible. It can be quite overwhelming planning of such a spacious journey, but with a small search (in reality), planning, excitement and motivation you can do it! And I hope this blog helps you plan. The way we deleted is the way we broke it.

Best Hikes In Utah: 20 Epic Trails

Since it’s home, Denver, Co, it was our starting point. We decided to include Moab and Sion for our journey, even if they are more than 4 hours away and at the opposite ends of the state. Sion made sense for the first time because it’s the most (9.5+ hours of) and on the road from Zion to Moab are some of the incredible slots that we also wanted to see. So that was the plan. We started our a week’s trip to the hurricane, out, only 35 minutes from Sion. We then spent 2 nights there, and then we went to Moab. On the way to Moab we stopped in Kanab, Desert Nello Utah, where they can find some incredible cracks for dogs. The journey also brought us through parts of Arizona, including Lake Powell (which seems fantastic and determined on our list for the next adventure). We finally landed in Moab, where we stayed for the rest of the trip and a total of 3 nights. The journey to the house at the end of the holiday was a simple + lovely 5 -hour tour. All in all, I really think that the way we planned the biggest sense of what we did best did. You might want to customize, add, eliminate and plan, based on where you are coming, how long you have and what you are most interested in. (If you are short, I would highly recommend you make Moab the whole stay). Here’s a little beyond the first 2 legs of our journey: Zion and Slot Canyon in the desert in Utah. [We are making a separate blog about Moab that will come soon!]

After our exhausting 9.5-hour journey from Denver to Oragano (with a lot of snack and vasino) we arrived the exclusive hurricane A-frame Cabin, UT, about an hour from Sion National Park.  Look at the sight of this place!  The first day was a laundry because we were tired and we just wanted to relax and sit the incredible view directly from our Airbnb.  The hurricane is a small town, but for a big worm you will find Main Street Café.

The hurricane is just 50 minutes from a non -related naturally wonderful wonder and (for us) … Coral Pink Dunes State Park!  We didn’t even know about this park until we were in Oragano, and when it was so close, we took the journey there.  Young oh boy, it was worth it … I never saw pink sand and this place was simply incredible!  It is also dogs like a state park, which was obviously the best for us!  Also because it is not really famous, you do not have to fight for all crowds.  Coral Pink Sand Dunes is located between Mount Carmel Junction and Kanab, to the south and west of the US Highway 89 in the County of Kane.

We led approx. 35 minutes to day 2 and went to Izion National Park. Sion Limited, like all national parks, dogs in the park. But unlike many other national parks, there is a friendly excursion in the park, Pa’rus Trail. Pa’rus is an almost completely flat paved path, 3.4 miles (inside and outside) with a beautiful background around them, and linen dogs are allowed. It’s the only pet in the whole park. In addition to the PA-Rus trail, you can also enjoy the park by driving your puppies in the car along the 9 (Rion-Mt. Carmel Hwy) and stop in various RIP-off points that have an incredible view. Unfortunately, private cars are not allowed during the tourist season on the drip -powered Scenic from Zion Canyon, which is only reserved for shuttle buses. You can also perform Bryce Canyon on the same day, it’s just another hour from Sion. For lunch we stopped Springdale in the cute little town of Springdale just outside the sion, where many travelers apparently spend the night when they visit Zion and then take a shuttle in the park. We ate in Cafe Soleil, which has been sitting for outdoor dogs and delicious sandwiches. In retrospective, Springdale would probably have been an excellent opportunity for us because we traveled with a dog because you would like to make your puppy at your hotel/Airbnb in the days when you would like to make the excursions not masturbate in sion as the famous landing landing will do! Springdale is only a few minutes outside the park with many amazing restaurants.

On the third day we said goodbye to the hurricane and got the way to the canyons in Kanot in Kanot, UT and finally to Moab.  The special excursion of the gap that we chose (after taking many studies) was the wake of the passage of Buckskin Gulch’s thread. This excursion was perfect for us as (1) was friendly and (2) much less crowded than the other well -known canyons, such as the famous wave in Arizona (where you need to enter a lottery to make a chance). Fair message, the journey to the starting point of the wire cord is not easy.  It is in the middle of nothing with lots of rough soil and requires the whole wheel.  You also need to make sure that the prognosis does not give rain.  This is not a joke: the area is susceptible to dangerous floods and you do not want to be blocked in this area if it is flooded.  So sure to make sure to plan a dry day.   But the payment is worth it!  The way for the beginning of
