The Kelowna region of Okanagan wineries is made up of five “wine routes” that are divided by region.

So if you’re following one of these wine trails, it’s usually easier to visit in more than one day. (as they are close).

All of Kelowna’s dog-friendly wineries are scattered all over the place, so I’ve included them in my list of wine trail groups. Make it a

Most people visit wineries 3-5 in the afternoon, and each of these groups has about 3-5 dog-friendly wineries, so it works out well.

Four of the five Kelowna Wine Trails have dog-friendly wineries to visit. I’ve also included a bonus section for wineries located south of Kelowna, but closer.

PS: It goes without saying that pets are generally welcome when visiting Okanagan wineries.

Summerhill Pyramid Winery’s wines are stored in their unique pyramid-shaped wine cellar. Apparently it has all kinds of benefits, and you can learn all about them on one of their cellar tours.

As a dog-friendly winery in Kelowna, there is an outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy wine with your friends.

Dog Friendly Vacations In Longmont, Colorado

This Kelowna vineyard is the oldest continuously producing vineyard in BC and produces wine exclusively from its own grapes.

It’s also the first LEED-certified winery in British Columbia, which means it’s energy and water efficient — and that’s a big deal.

There are dog friendly areas in the vineyard. If your dog is well behaved, you can bring him to the tasting room with you in the summer.

Cedar Creek Winery has spectacular views with a place to cuddle your dog while you taste the wine. They also have a dog friendly picnic area for them to enjoy with them.

With an outdoor dog-friendly picnic area, St. Hubertus Winery is a great Kelowna winery to visit with your dog. It is a popular pub with locals and their young children.

Bonus: Walk across the street to Cedar Creek Dog Park to let your dogs splash in the ocean.

Six Fantastic Dog Friendly Getaways Near Boston

These vineyards are across the lake, most of them near or far from the main road.

Located on the quiet slopes of a volcanic mountain, this award-winning property is nestled among wineries on the West Kelowna Wine Trail.

As long as the dog is on a leash you are welcome to wander around the vineyards and the staff will happily provide a cup of water while waiting outside the tasting room.

Your dog will have to hide outside the door to the tasting room, but it is in the shade, there is a water bowl, and it will get a lot of attention from the other guests.

They have a restaurant at Quail’s Gate Winery, but unfortunately they don’t allow pets on their deck. So don’t plan on eating there with your dog.

Accent Inns Kelowna is dog friendly, highly rated and located close to downtown and the beach. It’s a short walk from dog-friendly pubs and has an outdoor pool.

The bench southeast of Kelowna has some of the oldest vineyards in the Okanagan. These wineries are surrounded by gardens and farms, and three out of four are dog friendly.

One of our favorites, Boca Winery in Kelowna is very dog ​​friendly. Bring your pup and enjoy wine tasting in an old apple packing house with a knowledgeable staff.

This Kelowna BC winery was one of the first wineries to pioneer British Columbia’s wine industry. Back in the day they were the first to grow pinot gris vines in Canada – amazing.

Outside the entrance to Green Monk Winery is a shaded area with water for your dog to splash in.

Near the airport is the Ancient Hill Winery. Take the little ones along as you love the beautiful gardens and outdoors. Obviously, he also has a nice glass of rosé in his hand.
