Dog Friendly Vacations Michigan All Inclusive – Frankenmuth, Michigan is a great little town to visit whether you have a dog or not. However, like few cities in Michigan, Frankenmuth prides itself on being dog-friendly. It hosts the “World’s Biggest Dog Olympics” called the Dog Bowl, and also hosts a festival of many dogs throughout the year. I go to Frankenmuth at least once a year.

When it comes to dog-friendliness, Frankenmuth, Michigan has plenty of dog-only events, especially those hosted by River Place Shops. If you have a dog that loves crowds and other dogs, Plan your trip around Memorial Day weekend and join The Dog Bowl!
Fair warning: our dog does not like the Dog Bowl; Then Kirby realized that he really liked other dogs. It wasn’t a good experience for us, so I personally wouldn’t take my dog to a more crowded event when I introduced the event. You know your dog; So if your dog has no problems with crowds or other dogs, you may have a blast.

The most famous of these is the Memorial Day weekend Dog Bowl, “the world’s largest Olympic-style dog festival.” Dock Dock Show K-9 dog racing; Your ability to participate; You will find agility and much more. We went this year and as I said above, It wasn’t the best experience for us, but if your dog loves dogs and other people and doesn’t mind crowds, it’s still a great event.
Another dog-friendly festival is Scarecrow Fest – Dog Weekend in mid-October with tiger shows, bowling They celebrate with pumpkins and dog costumes.
River Place is dog friendly. They host Dog Bowl and Scarecrow Fest – Dog Weekend. With more than 40 shops and attractions, you can spend a whole day here. You can find dog friendly dog shops on their flyers and they usually have a paw print on the door so you know which dog is your favorite. This is a great option if you are fishing for Frankenmuth on a rainy day.

If you want to shop more Calvin Klein, Carter’s J. Crew, You can stop at Birch Run Outlets, home to Kate Spade and over 100 other stores. There’s also Doodle Doo Bakery, a dog bakery you can stop by with your pooch. The area is generally dog-friendly; There is a dog park in room E. Some stores will allow your dog to join you, just ask before entering.
Bavarian Belle River Boat, also located in the River Place Shops, offers a 60-minute Frankenmuth cruise on the Cass River. The 150-passenger family boat is dog-friendly from May to October and offers dog-friendly excursions during the Dog Bowl.
Ride it during the Dog Bowl and it’s the only thing Kirby likes about the Dog Bowl.
Bronner’s Christmas Store is the “World’s Largest Christmas Store” and the property and grounds total 27 acres. There are over 6,000 accessories and other decorations to choose from that will allow you to spend hours in this store. I love going to Bronner’s to find their own decorations and hanging out in “Christmas Wonderland” all year long without ever stopping 😉

Although the store is not dog friendly. At night, there are lights that can be used to drive the dog at night.
A walk in town or a 0.9 mile walk around the river is a great way to spend time with your dog in Frankenmuth. The heritage park called Hund Platz also has a dog park where your dog can enjoy his free time.
I love walking under the Holz Bruke Bridge, the largest wooden bridge in Michigan. It has a cool history and is one of the historical symbols of Frankenmuth’s German roots.
Le Crepe du Jour: Not an easy dog, but a great place to hang out. If you have someone over, let them order while you wait outside for your handmade crepe.

N’orlins Beignets – Enjoy New Orleans! The beignets are really good here. They have two locations: the downtown boardwalk and the River Place store. Walking is a great way to have your dog with you.
Zehnder’s – Get the famous chicken dinner. Zehnder’s is always busy, so call and reserve a table. They have a kennel that is open seasonally and call ahead to make sure the rink is open.
Pasty Haus – Homemade cakes; juices, malts, sundaes Bubble tea and puppy menu provided. In front of them were two tables.
Fischer Platz Biergarten – small bites; Recreation area with refreshments and summer beer.
South Haven Pet-friendly Vacation Rentals
Cheese Haus Food Truck – Located outside the Cheese Haus Market and specializes in a variety of cheeses such as mustards and sauces. The food truck offers macaroni and cheese cake and other delicacies.
Prost Wine Bar & Charcuterie – A great place to hang out with your dog on the terrace. wine for everyone; Get a board or a penny.
Halo Burger – Located outside of town near Birch Run but across the street, a good stop if you want a quick bite.
Sugar High Bakery – They have a variety of baked goods and desserts. They also have dog treats.
Northern Lights Condo Resort
The top-rated Drury Inn and Suites is located in the heart of downtown and has a kickback program at 5:30 p.m., offering light meals and snacks for a casual dinner included with your stay.
