Best Dog Friendly Wineries In Paso Robles – If you are a dog owner like me, you are always looking for the best place to go with your pup. Just three hours north of Los Angeles is Paso Robles. The perfect place to drink delicious California wine while you’re at it. I just got back from two perfect nights in Paso and this was the perfect trip.
Hotels: There are a few great hotels in the area, but my favorite has to be the Allegretto Resort. They have everything you need in terms of equipment, friendly staff and really love dogs. They have a great pool, restaurant, winery, and amazing grounds. Whether it’s a romantic getaway or an escape from the city, Allegretto has everything you need. Also, they are following all the social norms to ensure that everyone is safe. Bravo, they even have Tesla chargers for their guests!

Check into the hotel and enjoy their pool barbeque and relax after the drive. Allegretto wine is very good, so don’t hesitate to have a glass by the pool. Visit the hotel’s pet-friendly wine tasting area and sample Allegretto’s local wines. After drinking, head to the Cello restaurant to enjoy world cuisine just steps from your home. My favorite pasta dishes are their calamari and carbonara. Swimming time and wine are great after a long drive. Finally, I went to Sensorio. The ultimate art installation in Paso. The beautiful sea of light will make you feel like you are on the movie “Avatar”.
Kid Friendly Wineries In Paso Robles
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Cello Restaurant also offers an excellent breakfast menu featuring local ingredients and quality food. There are many dishes to try on the menu, I recommend you eat a few times during your stay. My favorites are Huvos Rancheros, fries, and breakfast burritos. After you’re done, walk a few minutes to Castoro Cellars for some wine. Beautiful colors, white, red and red mixed. My favorites are the 2019 Castoro Rosé, the Primitivo and the 2017 Trentasei Anni. I can’t wait to open the invitation I’m going to take home. It is always good to find a winery that has amazing wines and also has delicious food. For lunch, I tasted Niner’s wine and had the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The star of the show is definitely the wine, but it doesn’t hurt if the food is bomb. All the beautiful tables are set and they bring the outdoors to your dining table. Everyone deserves a look at Hearthill Vineyards. Their new ingredients add to the wine. If you go, they must have Albariño and Tumani. The best wine I have tasted from Paso. There are so many sweets in my stomach, I need to find a place to leave. Paso Walk is the best place for this. The new Restaurant and, as they call it, Paso Market Promenade, is a mixed use that will allow residents and seasonal travelers to experience the unique flavors of the Mediterranean – from small operations to the new generation of food and wine sets, for neighbors and guests who enjoy everything. “There are so many great places to explore and I will be back. My favorites are Leo Leo Gelato, Simply Brewed, Paso Robles Wine Merchant, and JoBella Coffee Roasters. For dinner, I go to Thomas Hill Organics for the Chef-driven tasting of local produce. Their spacious patio is perfect for dinner. One thing to remember when dining in Central California is that everything is chef-fresh of Thomas Hill Organics hits the nail on the head with every dish. Fruits and tomatoes are in season and featured in the menu. If you are a beach fan, they is a star. You can only taste so much in one day. That’s why Paso has a great speech that’s similar to what you’ll find in the big city. Two Cocktail Bars in downtown Paso are free to start. Get there early so you can wait a little. If you don’t like something on the menu, they will make you something special on the menu that you like.
As hard as it is to visit and go home…you have to do it sometimes. Breakfast in Cello, then a meal before heading home. First on the list is Hope Family Winery. I love the house in Paso Robles. Austin Hope House Cabernet. Not only do they make rocket cabins, but their entire line of GSM estate wines will blow your mind. Last but not least, I drove to LA, hitting a winery at the end of the road. Edna Valley’s Tolosa Winery is known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. All I need is a cheese plate and their elegant pinot and I’m good to go. How wonderful were my two nights in the Paso wine country. Follow this path and you won’t go wrong. Just like my previous wine tours with Babu (and now Gunda) in Napo, Sonoma, Carmel Valley, Clear Lake, and Lodi, Paso Robles has many dog-friendly tasting rooms and wineries that cater to dogs.
The best way to order wine in Paso is to consult the list on the Paso Robles Winery website, where all the products are listed (they have a wine label next to their name to indicate that they welcome dogs). It really helped me choose the wineries to visit Gunda, who used to live with us in Pismo Beach, a friendly beach town near San Luis Obispo.
