Our cabin sits on a hill overlooking the Athabasca and Miette rivers, with trails right outside your door so your dog can exercise, stretch his legs or wander. Located in a national park, Tekara Lodge offers wildlife viewing, especially during the moose breeding season. We ask that guests traveling with family members sign a pet registration agreement upon check-in and allow a maximum of two pets per cabin. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our apartment above Tekara restaurant.

There is a $35 pet fee, but we do not charge more than $70 during your stay. Dogs of all sizes are welcome, including large breeds. When you register you will receive a special service package for all registered pets (usually dogs). We also provide pet bedding for sofas and food bowls if required.
