We have three homes for you to choose from, designed with dogs in mind. The cottage was converted from a stone and shell house in 2004. The cottage is situated to the rear of the farm to take advantage of the many stunning countryside views.

Distant hills of Exmoor. The cottage is warm and cozy and a great place to come home to and relax after a day with the dogs. We’re all dog owners here, and if you’d like to bring more than one furry friend, we’re happy to welcome several dogs with you on vacation.

Laverock Holiday Cottages, Dog Friendly Cottages In Co Durham

Woodland Cottages were originally working farms in the 17th century until the early 1970s. In 2004 they were converted into three houses, all with wonderful views over Exmoor.

All three houses are dog-friendly, with no carpets and leather seats so you don’t have to worry about dirty paw prints here.

With a room to wash the dog after a hard walk and an extra fridge to store plenty of dog food, we make sure your dog is fed. We also have a covered patio with comfortable seating, sunshades and a BBQ on request.

Plus, we have eight acres of private woodland for you and your dog to explore and enjoy. Grassy and wooded areas are surrounded by picket fences so your dog can explore the area without needing a lead.

Four Seasons Barn

Woodland Cottages is just a short drive from dog friendly beaches including Instow, Northam Burrows, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. Your four-legged friend will enjoy every minute of this wide open sandy beach.

This was our first visit to Woodland cottage with our dog Archie. Surprisingly, the house is well equipped, very clean and perfect for your dog’s vacation. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
