If you’re considering skipping the pet-friendly paddle boarding on the Buffalo National River… DON’T! We did it with Ty and Buster and loved every minute of it. Although it was our dogs first time in a canoe, they did very well. And now it’s one of our favorite memories with them.
The name White Sands may be a little misleading, but that doesn’t make this pet-friendly national park any less impressive! The sparkling dunes here are actually made of gypsum, not sand. And thanks to the ancient sea and a very favorable geographical location, it is now the largest dune field in the world!
