Ontario is an adventure destination for outdoor dogs and their owners. The extensive network of state parks and campgrounds makes it easy to plan a vacation for you and your furry friend.
Most Ontario campsites and campgrounds welcome dogs with wagging pleasure, although it’s important to know the rules and exceptions. There are so many camping opportunities throughout the state that it is impossible to list them all. Instead, we find a representative mix of the best campsites, focusing on unique dog camping in northern Ontario.

The camping season starts from early to mid-May until September or mid-October, and the high season from July to August. Remember that popular campsites can fill up quickly, especially in high summer.
