Where Can I Get Free Dog Vaccinations – The Woodlands, TX – Operation Pets Alive is partnering with national non-profit organization Petco Love to give pets the best chance at a healthy life by hosting a free pet vaccination event on May 29, 2022.
In an effort to encourage pet parents to educate their pets about vaccinations, Petco Love will provide free pet vaccines to pets in need through Operation Pets Alive. As puppy and kitten season approaches, infectious and fatal diseases in pets—parvovirus, distemper, and panleukopenia—are on the rise, but they can be prevented with a simple vaccine.
Where Can I Get Free Dog Vaccinations
Operation Pets Alive partnered with Rockin’ Pets, Rollin’ Vets to host a free vaccination event. Together they plan to vaccinate 300 pets. The free vaccination will take place on May 29, 2022 from 14:00 to 17:00. at First Methodist Conroe at 4308 W. Davis Street in Conroe, Texas. Vaccination will be given on an earlier basis. The vaccines distributed through the Petco Love initiative will be the DAPP canine and FVRCP feline vaccines. The event is also sponsored by Fi Nano, which allows up to 300 animals to be microchipped.

“Thanks to Petco Love, we can offer these important vaccines to pet owners at no cost,” said Sue Woody, vice president of Operation Pets Alive. “We encourage community members to take advantage of this free resource to help reduce the spread of disease and ensure the health and well-being of our community pets.”
The Give Pets Their Best Chance initiative makes essential pet vaccines available to pet parents who may face financial hardship and ensures that cost is not a barrier to protecting pets from preventable diseases.
“Treating these life-threatening diseases can be prohibitively expensive for many pet owners,” said Suzanne Kogut, president of Petco Love. “By providing free vaccines to those who need them, we can help these pets live healthy lives. Through these national efforts and our other Petco Love Care initiatives, we continue our 22-year history of strategic investments and innovations to end the unnecessary euthanasia of pets.”
National Pet Vaccine Month is an extension of Petco Love’s One Million Free Pet Vaccine campaign, which has helped 400,000 pets to date. Fifty percent of pet parents surveyed said their pets had never been vaccinated against these diseases. With the Bissell Pet Foundation as an additional partner this month, Petco Love is committed to raising awareness and accelerating vaccine distribution.
