We also put a blanket under the air mattress to protect Kirby’s sleeping position on our bed. You can get them their own bed, but if your dog sleeps in your house, good luck trying to sleep on your bed in your tent.

Make sure that your dog’s “dog” on the trip is facing the picnic table, the fire pit, and in a way that your dog can see you. You want to make sure they don’t run into the tent or step on it or fall into other things within six radius. The reason I say six feet is because most arenas have a policy that dogs must be within 6′ at all times.
