It is only 15 minutes walk from the center of Warkworth to this magnificent beach with clean sand and few visitors. It offers miles of amazing walking with strong legs. Dogs are welcome in Warkworth all year round and access is easy, there is parking about a quarter of a mile from the village and the beach is only a 5 minute walk over the hill.
Warkworth Beach is one of the best beaches in Northumberland and it’s easy to make this a circular walk. It’s a perfect beach to walk to, get to Alnmouth and then take the bus back. Well-behaved dogs (although usually a maximum of 2 per coach) are allowed on Go North East buses and it’s a great way to explore further afield if you’re not the driver.
Wells-next-the-Sea Beach, located about a mile from the town of Wells-next-the-Sea on the north Norfolk coast, is a dog’s paradise.

The small village of Port Isaacs is built around a magnificent old harbor with a beautiful beach. And it’s the perfect dog-friendly beach in Cornwall because it’s so easy that everyone knows where it is! At low tide it was brilliant, with a vast expanse of sand jutting out from the twin piers.

Port Isaac Beach is a great beach for dogs, not least because it is well protected from the weather and wind by the cliffs in the west of the village, meaning that even in bad weather you will have plenty of protection and a swimming pool! the stream that flows into the sea is sure to interest the curious pup!
There are six other beaches in the Port Isaac area, all dog friendly, but this one is a must as you are right in the middle of the village (you can even see Doc Martin’s famous practice from the beach) and there are so many. A great cafe to grab a drink and a snack.
It is easy for motorists to park in Port Isaac, with car parks located on the outskirts of the village. If you are not driving, there is a bus from Bodmin Parkway which takes around 2 hours.
Visit Gwithian Beach, in the extreme south west of Great Britain (near Land’s End!) for over two miles of dog paradise all year round.
