Dog Friendly Cabin Kent – As any dog owner knows, or any new dog owner knows, leaving your dog on vacation isn’t just a logistical nightmare, it’s an eyesore. One of the best things about our collection is the number of places that are just as excited to see your dog as you are. While there are plenty of dog-friendly places in our collection, there are a few options that caught our eye:
The cottage sits on a private stretch of river in the middle of 6,000 acres on the North York Moors. You are surrounded by nothing but nature and wildlife. Fire up the grill and dip your feet in the river (or dive right in). The estate has an excellent beer garden and its own pub, The Horseshoe Hotel, with an outdoor bar, barbecue and large farm shop. You are only six miles from Whitby and beaches such as Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay for surfing or paddleboarding, both dog free all year round! The Coast to Coast Trail also runs through private property so you can jump in and hike for miles. Your dog will love using the included bed and will patiently wait for organic treats – just for him!
Dog Friendly Cabin Kent
The views in and out of The Workshop area’s long balcony are as impressive as the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. The cabin is spacious, light and airy, with beautiful colors and comfortable sofas, scattered solid oak floorboards (perfect for yoga!) with rugs and a log burner to warm you up on a cool evening. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, with a chest of drawers full of tools to tempt the chef. Barbeque or dine alfresco in your own garden, surrounded by small but perfectly formed greenery. With plenty of walks nearby, there’s plenty to keep you and your dog busy for a while. Take yourself and your four-legged partner on a trip up Little Salisbury Hill for a spectacular view.
Dog Friendly Cottages In The Lake District With A Hot Tub
All three acres of Cwtch forest are yours and yours alone. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a place to relax, swing in the hammocks and gather around the campfire, or a place where the kids can run free and sharpen their nest building. The entire site is offline, meaning no TV or Wi-Fi, just you and the peace of nature. You can test your skills and cook up a barbecue in the garden, but there are also gas hobs if you fancy a quick cup of tea. The host Bethan can also point you to trails leading out of the forest for great walks by the rivers.
Set in wild Devonshire meadows, a 15-minute walk from the nearest building, Withywindle is designed to blend in with the countryside and help you do the same. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the deck around the Ooni oven making pizzas, or if the well-equipped kitchen doesn’t suit every appetite, cook on the nearby fire pit. There are books to look at and a large outdoor bath to sit in the back and pretend to read them. You can end the day with some quiet stargazing wrapped in a blanket. There is plenty to do in Devon nearby and the cottage is midway between Exmouth and the North Devon coast. Find plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby and beaches along the way.
Mill Valley is completely off the grid and pretty rustic like an old camp but with a little creativity. You’ll spend your time exploring nature, generally getting muddy, and making new friends. If you happen to have a guest in another room, I think one of the parishioners from the church on the hill, owner Lisa and Neil, and at least a few of their dogs, will be happy to play with you if you bring them. Along with Mill Valley itself, the Cornish coast is your playground, with stunning woodland walks, windy coastal paths and wide beaches to explore, as well as country pubs waiting for good food in peaceful hidden villages. There is an acre and a half of safe land to let the dog off the trail and a can of food ready to welcome your dog when they arrive!
