The New Gower Hotel is quiet and secluded, offering pet-friendly accommodation and dogs are allowed inside and can be fed. Dogs are welcome on the restaurant’s covered terrace, which is especially popular in the summer months. A variety of menus are available and afternoon tea is also available – pre-booked. From this hotel it is possible to walk along the valley floor to Pwll Du beach. The trip takes about 50 minutes. Otherwise, you can return to Bishopston on the cliff.

Three Cliffs Coffee Cafe is known for its homemade desserts, especially its delicious cakes. They happily welcome dogs and have a special area downstairs where pet owners can eat together. The cafe is located on the beautiful slopes of South Gower close to wonderful walking trails.
Within a 30 minute walk west you can explore Pobbles Bay and Three Cliffs Bay. If you go that way, it will take you 40 minutes to reach Pwll Du. These beaches are dog-friendly all year round, but in the summer it gets really hot and there’s no shelter for dogs. Since there are sheep, cattle and horses in the area, it is important to keep your dogs on a leash.
