Italian Restaurants With Outdoor Seating Near Me – Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has quite famous restaurants like Wakuda and Kuma. However, the best Italian restaurants in Singapore are not here!
I’ve summarized three places above—unfortunately, none have as great service as other MBS restaurants like Blossom—but scroll down for more detailed reviews to see what I didn’t like.

This Italian cafe is located by the sea. It is part of the De Paulo chain in Singapore. (Their Holland Village, Paragon, etc.)
Gamberetti’s Italian Restaurant
TheDa Paolo Menuat MBS salad, pasta, ice cream and more. offers. The service is not very good and the food is very hit or miss. (Pasta sometimes looks like a microwave!)
We had lunch at Lava Singapore which is a lovely restaurant on the top floor of MBS. There is a flower cage in front of the entrance which is a nice welcome.
Unfortunately, the lunch did not start well, as the receptionist was sleepy and unfriendly. The worst service we have ever received at MBS restaurant.
We ordered from the a la carte menu: truffle fries, pasta, the famous LAVO patties with ricotta cheese (huge portion) before finishing with tiramisu. (We didn’t try the other specialties like the stuffed octopus because what we ordered was enough for 2 people. We couldn’t finish!)

All the food we tried was uninspiring and I won’t be going back for food. The prices weren’t too bad (for MBS – it’s cheaper than CUT, for example!), but the food didn’t taste good enough. Even something as simple to prepare as potatoes was not tasty. (Omfrit with truffles does not taste like truffles.)
Unfortunately I didn’t take many pictures of the food and surroundings – but the experience was so bad I can’t wait to get them back!
Overall, it wasn’t a great dinner. If you want to eat at the MBS rooftop restaurant, I recommend Spago instead – good food and good service! But if you’re a hotel guest and looking for something casual, why not eat by the pool? (For good Italian food in Singapore, try Garibaldi on Purvis Street.)
The view of the city skyline was stunning (it’s on the same level as the famous Marina Bay Sands Skypark and infinity pool.) – better than Spago – so I’d recommend going to Lava for drinks, not Italian food!

They sometimes have live DJs on weekends, so it’s a good place for a cocktail party.
This New York pizzeria is known for its delicious Neapolitan pizzas, and the 44-seat MBS location is the first (and only at the time of writing) in Singapore. The US office is said to serve the likes of Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The most popular are the famous original pizzas and bee bites. The pizzas are excellent: full of flavor, thin crust and fresh ingredients. I’d say it’s the best of the three cities on this list.
If you’re not in the mood for pizza, TheRoberta’s MenuAso offers several pasta dishes, wood-grilled shrimp, ribs, and oxtail stew. (a meat lover’s dream!)
The Best Restaurants To Eat Italian Food Outside
Don’t wait to be served here: order and pay at the counter. It reminds me more of an American (high-end) restaurant than an Italian restaurant. For example, the drinks menu includes lemonade and beer, not Italian drinks. I tried the lemonade and it was good, but not as good as I would have liked.
It’s the closest Italian place to the theater, so it’s perfect for a meal before or after the theater. Porch weather has arrived and we couldn’t be happier! Grab your friends and hit the reflecting pool while you enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine.
